I know it's shitty quality, but you can tell that they're pretty much straight. They're not thick or thin...and they don't naturally arch. Is it possible to get the arch without shaving them off/drawing them on? :/ I've heard about the weaving of eye brows but not sure what it is.
Open Question: Why doesn't Micheal Bay get the recognition he deserves? Seriously Micheal bay has directed some of the best critically acclaimed movies, like bad boys, transformers, bad boys 2 and the list goes on. His worked with some of the biggest stars of hollywood too like Shia laeoboof, Megan fox and Josh camelhum and many others too. Micheal bay has very good artistic vision when filming you tell me which director can imagine objects that aren't there and still pull of a great action scene making it look like the robots are actually real and making the stuff all come together no one can do that like Micheal bay, Steven Spielberg's cinematography doesn't even come close to Bays take a look at E.T all just boring over dramatic garbage, E.T looked totally fake like a pile of molded poo and he gets great recognition for his filming and his story telling, tell me this how the hell does E.T make his friends bikes fly in the friggin air but he can't beam himself up into his own friggin space ship, does this guy know what E.T is capable of or did he forget?

Open Question: Should I dye my hair super black or does it look better brown? I love the look of jet black hair on Katy Perry and Megan Fox, for example. I know that black is hard to get out of your hair once you dye it so I just want to be sure before I go through with it. I have a light olive complexion and dark, dark brown eyes so I don't think the black hair will have the same "wow" effect that it does on those lucky individuals with light eyes (plus their super gorgeous faces help). My hair is naturally dark brown and when I do dye it, I always pick the darkest brown before black but it always fades lighter to my natural color. Anyway, it's a petty question and a lot of you might already think my hair is super dark but I just wanted an outsider's opinion. Thank you for answering in advance! :-)

Open Question: How do I get into modeling? Ive been told several times that i should be a model, ive also been scouted at the mall twice in the past but never looked into it further at that time. I am 15 years old and 5'9 Ive been told i look like megan fox and adrianna lima and i should be a guess model. ah, gorton creek falls, what a complete adventure this one was. prepare to channel your inner indiana jones if you plan on visiting this 110 ft. falls. the trail from the wyeth campground is simple enough as you pass emerald falls and then you are faced with a giant obstructive boulder, and your journey of crossing gorton creek multiple times, rock hopping, climbing 5-7 ft. rocks, begins. i kept on thinking the whole time on the way up, "hey oregon, good lord, build a frickin' trail to this one." then i reconsidered because the trip is truly half the fun and you are rewarded with one of the true "sleeper" waterfalls of the columbia river gorge. this is one that separates...

lower stevens creek falls is much more interesting for the surrounding details than the actual pair of waterfalls totaling 15 ft. themselves. the canyon is filled with some real cool rock formations. the force of the water flowing through the canyon is also a sight to be seen. this is a nice spot to stop and check out if you are exploring nearby martha, sylvia or maple falls, but alone by itself it is probably not completely worth all the effort, unless you really enjoy rock canyons. enjoy!

i am starting to believe that i really need a wide angle lens for horsetail falls to capture the entire drop, though i am in the process of working on one right now that may change that a little. still, there is something about this waterfall that gives me trouble when i try to capture it in its entirety. i do not know if it is wind, curved nature, breeze, mist, who knows. the benefit of this though is now that i have been here about 4 or 5 times and have had the same difficulties, it has really forced me to come up with some cool compositions that i otherwise might not spend the time to focus on. i like this, i feel it captures the base and the pool of the falls really well. enjoy!

lancaster falls is the final of the three falls (cabin creek falls & hole in the wall falls being the other two) along the mt. defiance trail. this beast is actually 303 ft. tall but this is the only section that is accessible via trail and there is extreme foreshortening from this vantage which blocks the visibility of the whole top section. therefore, lancaster falls becomes more of a character study and it still works well. from i-84 you actually get a good distant view of its massive height. this is always a nice breezy area to find some cool in the summer. enjoy!

definitely one of the most unique waterfalls i have had the pleasure to visit in any state thus far, hole in the wall falls is the old warren falls (which the sign still marks it as) and a giant hole was blasted through the cliff along warren creek in the early 1900s to divert the water away from the old columbia river highway because of flood damage. ironically, a new highway was constructed years later, thus making the blast a useless exercise. but it has provided this cool waterfall flowing out of a cave/tunnel-like opening. i have yet to check out where old warren falls used to fall, apparently during really really high flow, old warren falls will still fall. this is the upper...

the standard postcard image of seattle from kerry park on queen anne hill. the wind was so extreme that i was experimenting with higher isos than i am normally accustomed to. not too bad, though i still prefer the lower isos and will be investing in another tripod that lets me put some weight under the center column for these conditions. this view (though constantly captured) is special because my wife and i were married at a church just three or four blocks above this view. enjoy!
cabin creek falls 2

my second trip to cabin creek falls proved to be a bit more successful than my first in terms of water flow. but after two trips it has been confirmed that august is really not the proper time to visit this waterfall. i was actually hiking to both lancaster and hole in the wall falls and this one is on the way regardless. because of a large boulder that blocks the front area of the falls it is impossible to see the full fall of this 220 ft. waterfall. i will return sometime in non-august to check this beast out when it is flowing large. enjoy!

i had a brief opportunity to take my skyscraper captures series to the aloha state. this is definitely my favorite skyscraper in downtown honolulu. the imperial plaza is a residential building just barely under 400 ft. tall (at 399.93 ft.) and was completed in 1992. i instantly thought it would be a perfect fit in my home city of seattle and it totally is a true landmark of the postmodern construction that is evident throughout downtown honolulu. enjoy!
